Nevada County’s State Senator is calling for a county-by-county plan to reopen the economy. In reaction to Governor Newsom’s “six steps road map to recovery”, Brian Dahle is asking the state to adopt the National Standards. That would be for counties that have few to no cases of coronavirus. His eleven-county district includes three with no cases, another with only one, and another with only five…
Dahle says he supports local Boards of Supervisors to lift restrictions on commerce when communities meet low-case criteria…
Dahle says he hasn’t talked to any Nevada County officials at this time about wanting to loosen restrictions.

Makes sense. We need to do this.

Brian,
I support this approach when there are supervisors with adequate health department/ health care provider input. Nevada County is blessed with engaged folks in the health department.
