Day of the Young Child

It’s been said that children are our most valuable resource. This  weekend Nevada County celebrates the Day of the Young Child at Sierra College from 10 AM to 2 PM. The event, co-sponsored by Gold Country Association for the Education of Young Children AND the Community Support Network of Nevada County, focuses on the resources, activities, and agencies available in Nevada County that contribute to the well-being and growth of the counties children.
Event organizer, Carolyn Tate, talks about the  32 year history of the Day of the Young Child.
