What a great way to start your day, at the prettiest fair grounds in North America!!
I am so lucky, I am paid to attend the Nevada County Fair. I hope you’ll come by the KNCO Gazebo and say “Hi!” when you attend this year. I’m there again Thursday morning until 11:30, then Saturday from opening until 4PM. One suggestion, make sure you stay hydrated.
One thing I noticed, a group of kids wearing Black and White Holstein cow colored vests and chaps. The same color combination as the covers used for the 55 gallon garbage drums scattered around the fairgrounds to collect all the empty corn dog sticks. I warned one youngster to keep moving or someone might mistake them for a garbage can. After a second of blank stare – the image clicked in their head and they agreed. I felt my good deed had been done for the day . . . . .
