Deceased Man Located in Homeless Camp

A deceased man located at a homeless camp in South Grass Valley. Grass Valley Police Lt. Alex Gammelgard says a call came in around 9:30 Wednesday morning.

Officers, detectives and members of the Nevada County Sheriff Coroners Division responded to the scene and opened an investigation.

Gammelgard says the body was first located by a person walking in the area.

Once learned, the ID will not be released until next of kin is notified.
