The couple were seriously hurt, but were able to crawl out of the traffic lanes. The driver, 52-year-old Eric Moffatt of Smartsville, was airlifted to Sutter Roseville Medical Center and was last reported to be in “fair” condition. The passenger, identified as 40-year-old Christine Rutherford of Grass Valley, was taken by ambulance to Rideout Medical Center.
