Deer Triggers Two Crashes on Highway 20

That took a few minutes, backing up traffic. Details are still being sorted out, but it appears that a couple of cars behind him failed to see the slowdown…

The driver who hit the deer was not injured, but there was at least one injury in that multi-car crash. Tassone says one person was taken to Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital by ambulance with what are being classified as minor to moderate injuries. One-way controlled traffic was in effect for over an hour with delays of several minutes.
