Allen says he hopes the Board of Supervisors listened to the voters last night. Measure W would have banned all outdoor grows in the county and limited the number of plants grown indoors.

Mr. Allen and other growers should be careful not to take the defeat of Measure W as a sign that a majority of county voters necessarily favor growing marijuana. Some voters may have felt Measure W was not the way to go about limiting pot grows.
