Delay Granted For Nevada County Murder Trial

The trial was originally scheduled to begin in November. The killing of Brian Spalding took place in April of last year. Hollingshead and Nix were indicted by a grand jury four months later, in August. Prosecutors say the men went to Spalding’s mother’s Banner Mountain home, and beat and shot him outside the home.
