The Coronavirus and COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way people live and do business. Everyday life for Nevada County residents has been turned upside down with quarentines, stay-at-home orders, distance learning, and businesses closing and reopening with different models. But how has life changed in Wuhan, China where the coronavirus began its assault on the world; and how does it compare to Nevada County. KNCO’s Paul Haas recently spoke with a friend of the family that has been living and working in Wuhan for several years. Michael lives in the most impacted area of the city.
He says as the city moved from lockdown- meaning no entry to or exit from Wuhan- to stay-at-home, the energy of the city changed dramatically.
Life continued to change as the city began enforcing stay-at-home orders.
Michael shares more about surviving the stay-at-home experience, community enforcement, testing and how Wuhan is moving forward.
