The Ag Commissioner also deals with pest regulations and weights and measures. DeNijs is currently the Deputy Ag Commissioner of Stanislaus County, and says he’s looking forward to meeting with local growers and producers….

DeNijs is originally from Antioch, and has a degree in Agricultural Business from Chico State. He will relocate to Nevada County with his wife and two young children. His first day on the job will be Monday.
