It’s an opportunity to get one free dental treatment for local residents of Nevada County who do not have dental insurance as Dr. Gary Sumner of Lake Wildwood Dental is presenting a Dentistry From the Heart event Saturday, April 21 at his offices in Penn Valley. Dr Sumner says other local dental professionals will be joining him.

The line for dental service begins at Dr Sumners’ office, 11300 Pleasant Valley road in Penn Valley, nd starts to build as early as 5a.m. as the event is first come first served. At 8 o’clock they start handing out numbers to those in line. Deann Sumner, Dr. Sumner’s wife has also been working to make the event fun for those receiving services and has arranged with the Lions club to have a hamburger barbeque going for families that will be spending all day at the event and Gil Dominguez is providing music and entertainment. People can also receive a test for their eyes.

This is the third Dentistry from the Heart event for Dr. Sumner and area specialists who have donated more than $75,000 in free dental care to more than 300 Nevada County residents.
