Deputies Battle Unwilling Suspect

Nevada County Sheriff’s Deputies occasionally have to make an arrest of a suspect that is not very cooperative. That happened Saturday afternoon at a residence in the 13-thousand block of Ridge Road in Grass Valley. Sheriff Keith Royal says they received a 9-1-1 call, and when officers arrived, they found 28 year-old Brian Jones in the driveway…

Jones was booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility on charges of resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and battery on an officer.
