Deputies Make Year’s First Meth Arrest

It looks like we have our first methamphetamine arrest of 2014. Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says around 2:30 yesterday morning (Wednesday), deputies were on their way to a call of a disturbance in the area of Highway 174 and East Empire Street, when they came upon two individuals on the side of the road…

The 51 year-old Crawford also admitted he had meth concealed in his sock. He and 31 year-old Megan Hernandez were booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility.
