Digital Media Leadership Campus in Nevada County

Nevada County is one of the top four digital media centers in the country and the only one in a rural setting. The Nevada County Economic Resource Council wants to want to capitalize on the opportunity and create the American Digital Media Leadership Campus. ERC Executive Director Jon Gregory tells KNCO the Campus would serve as a hub for emerging and existing companies focused on video technologies, including broadcast, satellite, IP over-the-top, video collaboration, surveillance, security, military and space programs, stabilization systems and new video markets.*

The idea for the American Digital Media Leadership Campus emerged at a lunch meeting of high tech CEOs hosted in June for the ERC by the CEO of Telestream, Dan Castles.
A Task force has been established and is beginning to look into the project. Gregory says the people involved believe it will lead to a game-changing, economic difference-making endeavor for Nevada County.
