Dog Bar Fire Fully Contained

It’s been almost a week, but the Dog Bar Fire near Alta Sierra is 100 percent contained now. The fire broke out Saturday afternoon, and destroyed six structures, incling two homes. Over a hundred homes were affected and evacuations were necessary last weekend. The Dog Bar Fire burned 247 acres. Unlike the King Fire in El Dorado County where a suspect was arrested on arson charges, the cause of the Dog Bar Fire is still undetermined.
