Dog Bar Fire Update 8:30pm

As of 8pm, the Dog Bar Fire has burned just over 300 acres and is 20 percent contained.  There is no estimated time of full containment, but Cal Fire reports crews are making rapid progress, and should make more significant progress during the night. Cal Fire Public Information Officer Joanne Carticelli gave KNCO the latest information shortly before 8pm, which was expected to be CalFire’s last report of the night. The fire broke out about 2:30pm. Three structures were destroyed–one residence, one trailer, and one outbuilding. The cause is not yet known, with the primary focus on containing the blaze.
