Dogs Abandoned After Arrest Need a Home

Two little chihuahuas found at an apartment where alleged dependent abuse occurred need a place to live- even if just temporarily. Last week a suspect that was taking care of a disabled woman was arrested for abuse and drug related charges and the woman he was caring for was sent to the hospital for evaluation and treatment. Unfortunately the two dogs that also lived at the apartment were left behind. According to Scooter’s Pals Executive Director, Susan Wallace, the animal shelter was full so the apartment complex manager is taking care of them.
