Domestic Abuse Suspect Escapes Sheriff’s Deputies

A Penn Valley woman was able to kick her way to freedom on Friday.  Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says deputies were called to a service station in Penn Valley early Friday.

The victim said his girlfriend had hit him several times in the face.  The Sheriff says when deputies went to the home in Lake Wildwood, 22-year-old Jamie Palmer was less than cooperative.  Palmer was taken into custody and put into the back of the patrol car.
