Dorsey Marketplace Condition Removed

Developers of the Dorsey Marketplace project have gotten their wish. The Grass Valley City Council has voted to remove one condition of the agreement to allow building the combination of apartments and retail space on the west side of the Golden Center Freeway. Part of the agreement approved on April 28th required electric space heating and water heaters, but the project applicants wanted that removed due to cost and other concerns. Tuesday night, the council voted 3-1 to remove the condition. Howard Levine was the dissenting vote. Ben Aguilar has recused himself from the discussions.
