The Dorsey Marketplace project calls for 181, 900 square feet designated for retail including a supermarket and up to three larger retail spaces , as well as 90 rental apartments. It would be located on just under 27 acres at the southeast corner of Dorsey Drive and Highway 49.
Part of the EIR process will include cleanup of a old mine site.

Shardt says it’s too early in the process to say which stores or businesses would open in the Dorsey Marketplace, but she says there will be an open house for the public to ask questions and look at models. They will also have 3-D video simulation of what the Marketplace would be like to walk through.

I saw a deer running down the freeway yesterday. No where to go... Where will they go after that space is all gone. Do we really need or want three more drive thru Joints?
Why turn grass valley into a crowded city? what's next Allegany?
