A man who crashed a Chevy Silverado truck  into a fence on Mt Olive and Lower Colfax Road at11:45  Friday night, was arrested  for DUI by police hours later driving another vehicle.  CHP Officer Justin Barnthouse says Harold Mason fled the scene of the first accident but witnesses saw the vehicle and license and officers were able to track down an address.

In a double dose of bad luck for Mr. Mason, Grass Valley Police happened to be tailing the Volkswagon as a suspected DUI when the CHP put out a be on the lookout for the vehicle.

Mason was booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility on Charges of Driving under the influence and contempt for disobeying a court order.
