If you drive down Mill Street or Main Street, you’ll notice a lot of downtown Grass Valley businesses that are closed–just like Nevada City or any other town right now during the coronavirus pandemic. Marshall says most of the food businesses are open with curbside service, but there are also retail and service businesses that are trying to pay the rent and other bills, and also take care of their employees.
