Drive-Thru Flu Shots Available Tuesday

Flu season doesn’t usually kick in for another month or two, but you can get a flu shot now, and get it for free. The Nevada County Public Health Department is offering a drive-through flu shot clinic tomorrow (Tuesday) in the Twin Cities Church parking lot. Immunization Coordinator Sharlene Weiss-Wenzel says the vaccination is expected to be a lot more effective than the ones available last year, and says there is a certain strain of flu that they are looking at for this winter…

The free flu shots are available from noon to 4pm (Tuesday), or while supplies last, at Twin Cities Church–11726 Rough and Ready Highway in Grass Valley.
