Driver Arrested for DUI After Rolling over Parked Vehicles

A lot of people in downtown Nevada City last evening couldn’t believe what they were seeing as an intoxicated driver of a Cadillac Escalade climbed a new Audi then rear ended a brand new Volkswagon which rear ended a Mercedes.
Nevada City Police Sgt. Paul Rhode says it happened in the 200 block of Broad Street, in front of the Mine shaft around 6 p.m.

The Volkswagen and the Mercedes received minor damage. Sgt. Rhode says the driver a 36 year old woman from Nevada City was taken into custody for DUI.

The three year old boy was taken to the hospital to be checked out but did not appear to have suffered any injury.
