Driver Arrested With Honey Oil and Pot

Erratic driving led to the arrest of a male driver for possession of both processed marijuana and concentrated cannabis Thursday night. CHP Officer Greg Tassone says the driver on a Volkswagen Passat was heading east on Highway 20/49 near Idaho Maryland when he all of a sudden swerved to take the exit.

As the officer made contact with the driver he detected a strong smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle.

The driver, 42 year old Michael Noworatzky, was determined to not be under the influence but he was taken into custody for possession of several ounces of processed Honey Oil as well as several ounces of processed marijuana.
