Driver in Fatal Accident Identified as Local Man

The driverĀ  killed early Wednesday when he was ejected from a sport utility vehicle has been identified as local resident twenty-five year old Sean Francis. The vehicle went airborne just before an overpass along Highway 49 in Grass Valley and landed near the intersection of Idaho-Maryland and Scandling Avenue.

Firefighters found Francis’s body in the bushes several hundred feet from the demolished car.
