Driver Training Car Causes Traffic Backup

A student driver and the instructor had traffic tied up at rush hour on Monday evening.  CHP Public information Officer Greg Tassone says a student driver was west bound on the Golden Center Freeway heading towards Grass Valley when something happened to one of the front wheels of the car.  Tassone says the car started to veer off the road and the driving instructor grabbed the steering wheel.
