Driver Turned Into Other Car’s Path on Highway 49

The CHP is trying to determine why one driver pulled into the path of another on Highway 49. Officer Marc Morrison says accident happened near Cornette Way Friday evening. He says a 64 year old San Jose woman attempted to turned off the highway in her 1998 Tacoma pickup. Officer Morrison says a north bound 1991 Mazda collided with the side of the turning Tacoma pickup.

The driver of the of the Mazda sedan was flown to Sutter Roseville Hospital for treatment of non life threatening injures. Officer Morrison says they are trying to determine why the driver of the pickup turned directly into the path of the other car.
