Driver Who Ran Into Lumberjack’s Sought

The search continues for the driver who crashed into the Lumberjack’s restaurant on Nevada City Highway in Grass Valley Tuesday night. Police Sergeant Clint Bates says there was what he called significant damage, creating a fairly large vehicle-sized hole, pretty much destroying the men’s restroom area in the side of the building. He says officers talked to someone who witnessed the crash from across the road…

Bates says as far as he knows Lumberjack’s outdoor dining has not been disrupted, with the crash not impacting the kitchen area. If you have any information, call the Nevada County Sheriff’s Department Dispatch Center or the Tip Line.
