The search continues for the driver who crashed into the Lumberjack’s restaurant on Nevada City Highway in Grass Valley Tuesday night. Police Sergeant Clint Bates says there was what he called significant damage, creating a fairly large vehicle-sized hole, pretty much destroying the men’s restroom area in the side of the building. He says officers talked to someone who witnessed the crash from across the road…

But Bates says there were no customers or employees in that area at the time. He says it’s not clear whether it was an accident or whether the driver did it on purpose…
