Drug Suspects Claim They Were Moving

Two suspects have been arrested after neighbors complained of a large amount of foot traffic at a residence on Highland Court early this morning. Grass Valley Police Sergeant Steve Johnson says that officers responded to the residence after midnight, and were given an interesting story of why there was so much foot traffic.

Officers had made arrests at the residence for drug related offenses in the recent past, so the story sounded suspicious. The two suspects, Micheale Cooper, 40, and James Hannan, 30, gave consent for the officers to search the residence.

Cooper and Hannan had both been arrested in the past several weeks for drug related offenses. Cooper was booked for possession of controlled substances and paraphernalia. Hannan was booked for possession of controlled substances without a prescription.
