A man in custody for selling drugs, possessing weapons, and in possession of a police officers ID credentials.
Nevada County Sheriff Lt. Bill Smethers says members of the Narcotics Task Force secured a search warrant for a residence on Alta Street in Grass Valley.

Upon arrival at the residence on Wednesday night, they discover John Abas home alone.

Drugs and sales related items were not the only things discovered by the officers.

The LAPD weapon and identification are being investigated to see if they have been reported stolen.
Lt Smethers says several of the weapons were loaded.

This is not the first time that Abas has been involved with law enforcement.

John Abas charged with possession of a controlled substance for sale, being under the influence of a controlled substance, maintaining a residence to sell or use drugs, possession of a controlled substance while armed, and possession of a silencer. The incident remains under investigation.
