The awards applaud the oustanding dedication to wildfire mitigation across a broad spectrum of activities and among a variety of individuals and organizations. Drummond also says the real credit goes to countless volunteers who make the work possible. She also credits the Board of Supervisors, local fire districts, and the Allstate Insurance Foundation for generous financial support of the Fire Safe Council.
