DUI Accident and Arrest on San Juan Ridge

Around midnight Thursday North San Juan firefighters responded to a vehicle accident on Pine Grove Reservoir Rd. Public Information Officer  Christopher Montelius says the first responding unit found a single vehicle into a tree.

Firefighters extricated the patient that was treated and transported by Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital Ambulance to Station 3 on Tyler Foote Rd. where he was transferred to an air ambulance that flew the patient to a trauma center.  Montelius say its the second injury related DUI in a week.
