DUI Accident Injures Grass Valley Motorcyclist

Sunday afternoon, a motorcyclist from Grass Valley suffered significant injuries in a collision with a pickup. CHP Officer Tim Sheehan says the pickup driver, 36-year-old Jeremy Tjensvold, also from Grass Valley, was southbound on Highway 49, approaching Little Valley Road to make a left turn…

Sheehan says the motorcyclist, 40-year-old Joshua Schwartz, struck the right rear of the pickup, causing him to flip over. He had to be flown to Sutter Roseville Medical Center, with moderate injuries. He says Tjensvold fled the scene, but returned a short time later…

Tjensvold was charged with felony DUI.
