DUI Arrest leads to stolen vehicle recovery

A Grass Valley Police Officer investigating a suspected Driver Under the Influence also recovered a stolen vehicle.  Grass Valley Police Sgt. Joe Mattioni says about 2:30a.m. Sunday  the officer observed a pickup swerving across the  double yellow line on Bennett Street approaching Bank Street.

Upon further investigation the officer determined that the pick up truck Maddox was driving was not registered to him.

Maddox was booked into County jail on charges of DUI and vehicle theft.
