DUI Checkpoint In Conjunction With Maximum Enforcement in Western Nevada County

The CHP in Western Nevada County and Placer County will be on maximum enforcement all Memorial Day Weekend. As part of the increased road presence, there will be a DUI Checkpoint somewhere in Western Nevada County. CHP Officer Greg Tassone says the purpose for notifying the public is to allow them an opportunity to think be for drinking and driving.

Officer Tassone says the DUI Checkpoint is taking place Saturday evening beginning around 6:00 PM.
