DUI Maximum Enforcement- Brunswick Basin Checkpoint

Maximum enforcement for DUI is in effect all Labor Day weekend. CHP and local law enforcement will be out in full force looking for impaired drivers. In Grass Valley there is going to be a CHP DUI checkpoint Saturday on East Main Street close to the Brunswick Basin.  CHP Officer Greg Tassone says it will be well marked.

According to Auburn Police Lt Victor Pecoraro, in Placer County the seven law enforcement agencies will be saturating their individual jurisdictions looking for distracted or impaired drivers.

Remember its always better to have a designated driver rather than run the risk of getting pulled over.
