DUI Suspected in Lime Kiln Road Accident

A driver suspected of being under the influence hit a pickup truck and injured the driver Wednesday evening. CHP officer Justin Barnthouse says the collision occurred on East Lime Kiln Rd just after 7:00 PM.

Unfortunately there was traffic approaching from the opposite direction.

The collision caused the driver of the truck to experience some chest and neck pain and he was transported to the hospital for treatment. CHP officers evaluated the female driver of the Chrysler, Liah Beason 45 of Grass Valley, and suspected she was under the influence and taken into custody.

Beason was transported and booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility.
