One DUI arrest had special circumstances of concern attached to it. The incident occurred just after midnight early Sunday morning on southbound highway 49. Officer Tassone says Sheriff’s deputies witnessed a 38 year old woman swerving all over the road almost driving off of the road several times. Deputies initiated a stop and determined alcohol may be involved and the CHP was called.

As a result of the DUI and child being in the car, a charge of willful cruelty to a child was added to the drivers charges.
