Hevia’s wife Dee Mariani is a realtor with Coldwell Banker, and has been working with the D-V-S-A-C to find the right location. Coalition executives say there has been a 79 percent increase in people they had been unable to shelter. Last year, 82 victims had to be re-directed to other programs, or to other counties because their current three-bedroom facility was full.
