While some businesses are starting to re-open to inside customers again, there is still an effort continuing to help bring local shops, restaurants, and other merchants into the world of e-commerce. A group called Rebound Nevada County is launching what they are calling a Business ‘Ignitor’ course. Sierra Commons Executive Director Robert Trent is organizing. Rebound Nevada County is a collaborative group including Sierra Commons, the local chambers of commerce, the Nevada County Economic Resource Council, and other groups like the Nevada City Film Festival and the Nevada County Arts Council. You can sign up between now and Sunday at sierracommons.org. Trent says they have an ambitious goal to have all 50 businesses launch revenue-generating online stores by June 1.
