Egg Hunt at Scotten School Field

Twin Cities Church in Grass Valley has been making a family Easter egg hunt available to all residents in the community for eight  years now. They started off in Memorial Park but outgrew that venue and now have the Egg Hunt at  Scotten School on Squirrel Creek Road in Grass Valley.    It will be  Saturday April 19th. Twin Cities Church Children’s Pastor,  Bobby Breaux  says they will sort  the kids by age group and begin the hunt at 9 o’clock.

There’s a second area for pre-school up through Kindergarten, and the largest group is the First through Fifth graders.

This year they have 10,000 eggs stuffed with candy and ready to go.

Come as  early as 8:30 am to play on the playground, jump in the inflatable or for one dollar, have a family photo taken . Breaux says usually, about 150 kids show up.

There is also an Easter egg hunt in Western Gateway Park Saturday, April 19, 2014, 9 – 11am. This year the Easter Egg hunt  will be joined by Story Club of Nevada County celebrating reading and giving away children’s books  Before and after the Easter Egg hunt ..
