Election Numbers Improving But Still Not Great

According to Nevada County Election officials, the number of mail-in ballots being received at the office is on the rise.
Earlier this week only 6150 ballots of 43,811 vote-by-mail ballots had been received. Assistant Clerk Recorder Sandra Sjoberg says the number is now over 8000.

The elections office is open on Saturday for early voting. All mail-in ballots need to be received by June 3.
Ballots can be dropped at the Rood Center in either the drop box in the front parking lot or in the election’s office until 5:00 PM or at your official polling place before 8:00 PM on the 3rd.
