Emily Dickinson Comes To Life in The Belle of Amherst

Acclaimed local actress Marion Jeffery returns to the stage for one weekend only, this  Thursday, through Sunday to offer her extraordinary performance as Emily Dickinson in The Belle of Amherst.
Based on Emily’s writings, this inspiring Tony Award winning play by William Luce illuminates one of America’s greatest and most loved literary figures.   Jeffery says Dickinson’s relevance has not been diminished through the decades.

This Tour de force one-woman show is the final production in Paul Emery’s Our Town Fall Theatre Series, at the historic Nevada Theater in Nevada City. it runs November 8-11.
