With Nevada County’s ordinance prohibiting outdoor grows, and the cities of Grass Valley and Nevada City also banning outdoor pot, technically *all* grows in the county are now illegal, but Hutchinson says they are proceeding with the event anyway…

Illegally taking water out of the river for cannabis grows, and then polluting the river with water put back in are SYRCL’s biggest concerns. ‘Growing Green for the Yuba’ is tomorrow (Saturday) from 9:30am to 6pm at the Shady Creek Event Center on the San Juan Ridge. Lunch is provided but you do need to register.
