ERC Virtual Tour June 20

What used to be a bus ride around Western Nevada County to highlight businesses in the area has transformed to a virtual tour. The Economic Resource Council is holding its 1st annual virtual tour of companies from all of Nevada County. Vice President of Marketing Services at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital and the ERC Coordinator for the Virtual Tour, Debbie Plass, says that the new format allows for more businesses to participate.

The virtual tour, hosted at Sierra College Nevada County Campus, includes four business presentations as well as a special guest speaker.

Founder of Mountain People’s Warehouse, Michael Funk, is speaking to the topic of “Creating a Fortune 500 Company from Scratch”. Mountain Peoples Warehouse was born as a small operation in Grass Valley in 1976 and has grown to be a multimillion dollar business over the past 40 years.

The ERC Virtual Business Tour is Thursday June 20 from 1:00 to 5:30 PM cost is $45 and includes a glass of wine at Sierra Star Vineyards. Register online at ncerc.org or call 530-274-8455 for more information. Space is limited to 145 participants.
