Nevada City’s parade for Paralympic gold medalist Evan Strong tomorrow may not happen because of the weather, but even if it is canceled, there will still be a celebaration. Nevada City could see some snow, so Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Cathy Whittlesey says they’ll wait until tomorrow afternoon to make the call…
There was a post-parade celebration planned at the Miner’s Foundry anyway, so if the parade is snowed out, all the parade entrants will just move down there…
And of course, the guest of honor will be there…
If the parade does go on as scheduled, it will start at 6pm at the Methodist Church, and work its way down Broad Street.
