The Resilience Project will host its next Community Meeting on Tuesday, September 29th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the LOVE Building in Grass Valley. This meeting will feature a presentation and panel discussion, “From Waste to Resources: Local Solutions in Action,” highlighting how local programs, partnerships, and community action are helping turn waste challenges into practical resource solutions. Nevada County’s Solid Waste Division will help lead the conversation, joined by community stewards and nonprofit partners who are putting this work into action through reuse, recovery, diversion, education, and other local efforts. The meeting will also provide space for participants to share updates on their own projects, exchange information, and connect around emerging funding, partnership, and collaboration opportunities. Light refreshments will be provided, and attendees are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottles to help reduce waste - especially fitting for this month’s conversation.
