Expired Tags Leads to Three Arrests

A vehicle with expired registration tags caught the eye of a Grass valley Police Officer early Wednesday morning. Sgt Steve Johnson says the vehicle with three occupants was stopped at 4:43 AM on Brunswick Rd near Idaho-Maryland Rd. The officer first made contact with passenger 35 year old Erwin Boyce and discovered he had a felony warrant for his arrest. The second passenger was 29 year old female Katelin Sulley who was on search probation with search and seizure terms.

The driver of the vehicle, 28 year old Geoff Johannsen was also found to be in violation of the law.

All three suspects were taken into custody and booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility for various charges.
