Extreme Weather Shelter Open For Two Nights

Due to colder and more uncertain weather, Nevada County and Sierra Roots are opening their Extreme Weather shelter for Tuesday and Wednesday nights. The opening time is 4:30pm, in the lower level of the Nevada City Veterans Hall, with guests accepted until 8pm. The closing time is 7:30am. As always, COVID protocols remain in place. That includes a mask mandate and distancing requirements that will greatly limit capacity.
